IndexNow is an open protocol, documented at indexnow.org, that lets a publisher ping participating search engines when a URL is added, updated, or deleted. A key file on the host proves ownership. IndexNow.org lists support from Microsoft Bing, Naver, Seznam.cz, Yandex, and Yep. Google does not consume IndexNow.
