How share links work
Every Fix Report is reachable at a private URL containing a long, randomly generated, unguessable token (answerpatch.com/reports/{shareToken}). We don't require sign-in to view a report at its share link — the token itself is the access control.
Anyone with the link can view it
Treat your report link like a password: anyone who has it can open the report, with no additional login step. Don't post it somewhere public if the report contains information you consider sensitive. If a link is shared somewhere you didn't intend, contact support@answerpatch.com and we can help.
How long links stay valid
A share link remains valid for as long as the underlying report is retained — by default, 90 days from purchase. Once a report is deleted, its share link stops resolving.
